The IT Department covers the operational support andamp administration of all things IT from Hardware Servers, Desktop Network, SAN and Data Centre equipment through to Operating Systems Unix, Linux, andamp Microsoft , Middleware, Web services, Database Oracle, SQLServer and all tiers of the gaming and corporate applications chain.
Key Responsibilities andamp Accountabilities
Providing leadership to the Technical team in the areas of technical design, service delivery, work performance and behaviour. Conduct regular team meetings, informing the team of important initiatives and information
Ensure 3rd level support 24x7 is resourced to meet the demands of business as usual, major implementations and seasonal peak processing periods.
Manage the day to day team budget including staffing, hardware, software, 3rd party support agreements and licensing.
Monitor and measure the performance of infrastructure in relation to SLAs. The role is an escalation point for high priority support issues. Qualifications andamp Experience
Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Information Technology
Experience andgt 5 years verifiable experience in infrastructure team management in large corporate environment of andgt = 1000 users
Proven experience in leading Technical supportormaintenance teams
SQL 2005or2008
NetApp SANorHP Servers Desirable
EMC SAN knowledge Desirable
Experience in Oracle 9,10 andamp 11i Desirable
ITIL v3 Certification
