The Senior Business Analyst will be part of the Quality Assurance team acting as a liaison between the business and the technical teams you will be responsible for gathering requirements, designing solutions and designing test strategies to ensure business objectives are met. This role is ideally suited to someone having worked within financial services who comes from either a business background having worked closely with development and testing teams or more of a technical BA mathematical background. To qualify for this role you will need the following experience 4 years core Business Analysis experience 2 3 years experience within investment or institutional banking environment A structured approach to business analysis and hands on testing Excellent documentation skills are absolutely essential with the ability to mentor business users in document writing Ability to write SQL queries Excellent communication skills Financial product knowledge fixed interest products in particular is highly regarded but not essential This is an initial 6 month contract with the opportunity to go permanent thereafter.
