Senior Infrastructure Engineer andnbsp Citrix XenApp, SQL S8 5 month contract, with possibility to extend
Market rates on offer You will report to the Manager of the Infrastructure Service and will be supporting a environment consisting of over 70 Wintel Servers, AD, SQL, Exchange, SharePoint, Citrix XenApp,andnbsp XenServer and SAN. Key responsibilities will include the following - As part of the Infrastructure team, provide level 3 support to the Helpdesk support team.
- Enforcing, tracking and change management, ticket tracking and incidentorproblem resolution
- Be the technical liaison to business groups and application teams.
- Be the lead on projects
- Peer review product technologies and designs to support the business.
- Deliver projects across ICT data centers, Servers, networks and telephony.
- Communicate with other agencies and remote users.
- Ability to manage vendors independently
andnbsp Candidates must demonstrate the following in an updated Resume - A minimum of 5+ years experience working in IT infrastructure
- Experience in XenApp, XenServer and Citrix Server technologies
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft SQL 2000or2005or2008
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Server 2003or2008, AD, DNS, DHCP
- Experience in SAN storage, preferably HP EVA 4400
- Demonstrated experience in supportortroubleshooting network problems within a Microsoft environment
- MS Exchange 2010 Administration experience ideally
- Demonstrated experience in server virtualization, ideally with XenServer experience
- Some MS Exchange Administration Experience would be advantage
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and a commitment to client service
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills to deal with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds
