A leading player in the telecommunications environment is looking for a Technical Specialist to join ASAP for an initial 6 month contract. This position is responsible for designing, integrating and optimizing of the organisation s GSM and WCDMA networks across VictoriaorTAS, including leading technical projects and the introduction of new features and technologies. Key responsibilities will include but not limited to - Monitoring network performances
- Implementing changes into networks and optimizing parameters for 2G and 3G
- Drive testing
- Analyzing data to improve
- RF design of new sites and upgrading of existing sites
- Mentoring junior team members
- Meeting all accessibility, retainability and capacity performance KPI s for existing VictoriaorTAS network with an emphasis on HSPA and wireless broadband
- Completing designs within project timeframes and assisting other team members on design and technical issues.
- Provide input and be the VictoriaorTAS lead into expert forum groups Optimisation, Refarming, RF Design andnbsp
The successful candidate will have the following - 5 +andnbsp Years of relevant experience
- Strong experience in 2G and 3G network for RF designorbuild, dimensioning and optimising.
- Strong experience in GSMorUMTS mobile testing equipment functionalities
- Expert level experience in 2G and 3G including inter working technology.
- Australian Drivers licence
- Working at Heights certification would be advantageous
