Classified Description:	URGENT REQUIREMENT! Our client is about to embark on a major piece of work and requires the assistance of an experienced Transition Project Manager to tackle the set up of a service desk. This is an opportunity to take on an initial six month contract with a firmly established employer and be involved from Day 1 with an international project stretching across more than 30 countries worldwide. The project will involve the transitionorestablishment of the service desk, inventory, reporting and billing functions. A normal transition will include Program Management, Site Transitioning Management, Scope Management, Time Management, Cost Management, Quality Management, Human Resources Management, Communications Management, Risk Management Issue Management. Products include voice, data, video, mobiles and managed services. KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Essential Significant project management experience in either the IT or telecommunications industry mandatory, significant experience in this error is critical to your success as you need to perform from Day 1. There is no ramp up period. Demonstrated ability and a proven record of working with customers and 3rd party vendors at middleorsenior management level. Demonstrated ongoing competency in the management of multiple projects and sub projects in a managed services environment Critical . Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team of resources. Certification against a recognised project management standard AIPM, PMI . Demonstrated ability to define and implement methodologies and operating models PMBOK preferred. Membership of a project management or telecommunications professional institution. Experience in the deployment of ICTorManaged Service solutions critical!
